Can I pause, skip or swap tiers on my period subscription?

Yes. Pause, skip a month, or move between Standard, Plus and Deluxe any time from your account. Changes made at least 48 hours before your next dispatch (the 18th of the month) apply to that box; otherwise they roll into the following cycle.

How do I cancel my Surreal Comfort subscription?

Accepted Answer

Cancel any time in one click from your account under Subscription → Manage. There are no cancellation fees, no minimum term, and no phone calls required. Your account and quiz answers stay on file so you can restart later without redoing the personalisation.

Question 3

When is my box dispatched and when will it arrive?

Boxes ship on the 20th of each month via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 (DPD for Deluxe). Most subscribers receive their box between the 21st and 24th, timed to land before the next cycle. You'll get a dispatch email with tracking on the day it leaves the warehouse.

Can I change my quiz answers after subscribing?

Yes. Retake the quiz any time from your account — the answers update your next box, not the one currently being packed. Common tweaks include flow intensity, symptom focus (cramps vs mood vs skin), and scent preferences.

Is the packaging discreet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Plain, unbranded outer packaging with a generic sender name and no mention of period care, menstruation or wellness on the label. The rigid Deluxe keepsake box ships inside a second outer sleeve for privacy.

Do you deliver across the UK, including Northern Ireland and the Highlands?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Standard UK shipping is £3.95 (free on Deluxe) via Royal Mail Tracked, covering Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, and BFPO addresses. Deluxe uses DPD Next-Day. We don't currently ship internationally.

What is your returns and refund policy?

Unopened boxes can be returned within 14 days for a full refund under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Opened hygiene items (organic protection, supplements) can't be returned once seals are broken, but faulty or damaged items are replaced free of charge — just email hello@surrealcomfort.com within 30 days.

What happens if my box doesn't arrive?

If Royal Mail tracking hasn't updated in 5 working days, we'll dispatch a free replacement — no proof required. Deluxe DPD parcels are covered by a same-week replacement guarantee.

Are your period products organic and plastic-free?

Accepted Answer

Our core protection (pads, liners, tampons) is GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton with plastic-free wrappers and compostable applicators. Skincare uses ingredient-transparent, cruelty-free formulations, and full sourcing is available on request.

Are the electrical items UK compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The rechargeable heat pad and any electricals carry UKCA and CE marks, ship with a 24-month warranty and a UK-English user manual, and are tested to BS EN 60335 safety standards.

Are the supplements safe and UK-registered?

Accepted Answer

We stock only supplements from UK-registered manufacturers with full nutrition labelling and batch traceability. We do not make medical claims — if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or on prescription medication, please check with your GP or pharmacist before starting any supplement.

Are the boxes suitable for teens and first periods?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Standard tier is the most popular starter for teens; you can flag "first period" in the quiz and we'll swap in gentler formats (liners, mini pads, applicator-free tampons) and include our first-period starter guide. Parents can order on behalf of a teen and manage the account.

Can I gift a Surreal Comfort box?

Yes. Choose any tier as a one-off gift or a 3, 6 or 12-month prepaid subscription — no auto-renew, no card details required from the recipient. Add a handwritten note at checkout.

How does the loyalty programme work?

Accepted Answer

Every subscriber unlocks: 30% off in month 4, a Deluxe spa treatment in month 4 for Deluxe tier, and free add-ons after 5 successful referrals. Rewards apply automatically — nothing to redeem manually.

How is my quiz and cycle data used?

Accepted Answer

Only to curate your box and improve product recommendations. We never sell data, never share it with advertisers, and never link it to third-party health profiles. You can export or delete everything on file any time under UK GDPR by emailing privacy@surrealcomfort.com.
