Cycle Hub

Your cycle, explained properly.

Most of us were handed a diagram once, aged eleven, and left to work out the rest. These guides fill the gap: what each phase of the menstrual cycle actually does, why the week before your period is so often the hardest, what genuinely helps with pain, and when something is worth taking to a GP rather than tolerating.

Written in plain UK English, no scare tactics, and no pretending a subscription box treats a medical condition.

Why we write these

Surreal Comfort exists because period care in the UK is still sold as an emergency purchase — a garage forecourt at 11pm, in the wrong absorbency, in a rustling bag.

Understanding your own pattern is the thing that ends that cycle of scrambling. The box is simply what makes the plan run without you thinking about it.

A note on medical advice

These guides are general information, not personal medical advice. They are written to help you recognise your own patterns and to make a GP appointment more useful — never to replace one.

For urgent concerns, contact your GP or NHS 111.

Put the knowledge to work

Our 60-second quiz asks about your cycle length, your flow and the symptoms you actually get, then matches a box and a delivery date to it — so protection and comfort arrive before the bleed, not during it.
