Why I started Surreal Comfort.

A note from Natasha — founder, curator, and the person who signs off every supplier and every box.

Natasha Snelson

“I founded Surreal Comfort after years of watching friends and family navigate their cycles with little support or dignity.”

Before Surreal Comfort, I spent years in wellness and product curation — sourcing for boutique brands, building supplier relationships across the UK and Europe, and getting close to the details that make a product feel considered rather than commodity.

I kept noticing the same gap. Mainstream period products were functional but impersonal. Premium self‑care was often inaccessible, unrelated to cycle needs, or wrapped in packaging that felt anything but discreet. The two rarely met.

Surreal Comfort is the answer I wanted to exist. A short, empathetic onboarding quiz maps every subscriber to one of twenty curated boxes. Every supplier is vetted for sustainability, ingredient transparency and ethical practice. I lead product selection, brand voice and customer experience — and I'm personally invested in every box that ships.

Periods should be a moment of care. Softening a difficult week isn't indulgent — it's overdue.
